Dental Patient Coordinator - Pediatric Dental Office

Location: Hacienda Heights, CA 91745
Job Type: Full-Time (30-36 hours/week)
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Our boutique, privately owned pediatric dental practice in Hacienda Heights is looking for a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Dental Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with children and families and thrive in a fast-paced dental office, we'd love to meet you.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional pediatric dental care in a welcoming, positive environment where every patient feels comfortable. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding patient experience while supporting the daily operations of our practice.

Schedule

30-36 hours per week

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Check patients in and out efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and questions
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect patient payments and process transactions
  • Respond promptly to emails and text messages
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
  • Help create a smooth, positive, and organized patient experience
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to keep the schedule running efficiently
Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous dental front office or dental patient coordinator experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor

Preferred:

  • Experience with Dentrix
  • Pediatric dental or family dental office experience
